Digital Image Theives Beware

I haven't blogged in sometime, although I plan to all the time but two jobs and a life later I spend what time I have making cards and have not posted any. Plus, I lost my last blog info and pictures (user error I know). But I found a website today I think everyone should look at and take part in, especially if you are a digital image user like me: Stamp Out.

Digital images have allowed me (who lives on a very tight budget) to buy great digital stamps and add to my collection. I don't feel like I have to break the bank to make a great card or gift anymore because of the digital image option. Why on eath anyone would steal from these wonderful artists is beyond me.

Join the website. Join the cause! No more stealing images!

Some Odd Girl Ribbons and Rubons Challenge

New blog (this is number three...don't ask) but I had to start again I love challenges and I adore Some Odd Girl Digital Stamps. They make me giggle just looking at them.

This challenge was to make a card using ribbons and rubons, what stamper doesn't have a ton of that so of course I wanted to play along. I used Earthy Mae and colored her in with Copics. I'm still building on my very limited Copic collection but I am happy with the way she came out. I used SU! cardstock, button, twine, and rubons. I ordered the rubons two years ago I think and this is the first time I pulled them out. Not sure if you can see it but I used a rubon on the back of the button as well. I'd seen this done before but never tried it, I will do it again, I like the look. I've had those bottons forever too and never used them. The ribbon was a surprise in an order I received From Ellen Hustson's store. She always adds little goodies, is it any wonder I shop there often? The DSP is Basic Grey Origins 6x6 pad. I thought it went perfect with this image. I hope you like the card.

Cheers,
Diana
